Our face recognition system uses deep learning neural networks to create a mathematical representation (embedding) of facial features. When you upload a photo, the AI extracts 512 facial landmarks and compares them against every celebrity in our database using cosine similarity. Results are ranked by match percentage — anything above 45% is considered a strong match.
